Mixes
What up people. It's been a minute since I've updated this blog here. Just re-uped a few mixes I have been asked for recently, so here we go:
Tonic Lounge Mix - this was my first live set at Tonic Lounge back in 06 and it's still pretty damn good if you ask me.
Tom Rock rough Hip-hop mix - Tom Rock asked me to do a mix a while back for his awesome Hardcore Classix radio show. Never got around to finishing this, but here's the rough draft. Heavy on the hip-hop.
Tan Crackers Soul Club mixes - they get moved off the Soundcloud page on the regular but most of mine can be found here.

Tan Crackers Soul Club returns for 2011
That's right party peoples. You know you've been missing good quality soul music in Sydney since we broke up last year. Well, I'm here to tell you that the TCSC crew is back with the best music that Australia's cultural capital has to offer (yeah, that's right - Melbourne, you might have a cool scene, but the temperature is a deal breaker). For our re-launch in 2011, Gian has secured Good God Small Club, one of the hottest new venues and in a great central CBD location. With the best of the best Tan Crackers regulars including Gian Arpino, The Boogie Monster and myself, you can expect a quality night of killer soul, funk, latin, R&B and disco that's truly unavailable anywhere else in our fair city. Come on down if you wanna get down for a seriously good night. Sat 12 March 2011, 10pm - the crack of freakin' dawn!

Tonic Lounge + Soul Fire THIS WEEKEND!
Check me out at Tonic Lounge this Saturday 5 February from Midnight to 3am dishing up the killer disco/funk platters to turn the party out. Then on Sunday, Gonzo and I team up to bring you Soul Fire at The Hive Bar in Erskinville. From 6pm there will be all manner of soul and funk delights on offer in a relaxing cafe/bar environment: the perfect Sunday vibe. If you haven't been to the Hive before I highly recommend it... and don't be a stranger if you make it down there!
Peace

Australia Day = Aussie Funk Vol.1 Revisited!
Since Australia Day (26 January) was a couple of days ago, The Soul Of Sydney website that promotes all things musically Australian decided to do revisit my Aussie Funk mix from 2006 in order to celebrate the day. Cheers to Sammy for the appreciation and interest in good Australian music. You can check it out here. Plenty of other good stuff on his blog too, including a mix by a mate of mine.

Weekly Radio Podcast: When The Levee Breaks 2SER 107.3fm
Hey everyone,
just a quick headz-up to let you know that I'm now hosting a weekly radio program along with fellow music obsessives Peter Pascal (Creative Vibes label founder) and Sage-One (Sydney B-boy and DJ). The show is a little peak into our crates / private mind garden. We play good music across a variety of genres such as funk, soul, jazz, progressive rock, hip-hop, boogie, and some new releases as well. What we can promise about the show is that there will be lots of music that you won't hear on other similar radio shows, and that will be both informative and entertaining in our presentation!
